Les just got back from another stint on the MS Fram, the Hurtigruten adventure ship on which he has worked now a number of times as “Expedition Photographer”. This cruise took in some very historic places that date back a very long time ago, i.e., the Stone Age.
The middle photo is of Les in front of the church in the town of
Gjojv, Eysturoy Island, in the northern most area of the Faroe Islands. The photographer cropped the church steeple very nicely!
The bottom photo is of the Lerwick Boating Club, on the Isle of Shetland off the Northern Coast of Scotland, which he and Cathy visited about seven years ago, and for which they did a Burgee Exchange at that time. On this most recent visit, it was Sunday and the club was closed when Les snapped this photo of their front door.

Les and Cathy Kelly visited Auckland during a long trip downunder.
The little New Zealander on the right was an interested local.

Looks a bit like a Les Miserables ad.
The following photos trace Les and Cathy through the wilds of Australia from civilization to the outback. From opera to The Rock all icons of a wonderful continent.
The flies were an unexpected bonus.
